A free push is the possibility offered by most major registrars to transfer a domain name for free and with no delay between two different customers of this registrar. It means that the domain name will stay with the same registar, but will go from the account of the seller to the account of the buyer. This allows to bypass the prohibition of transferring a domain name witin 60 days of its purchase or registration.
