Short domain names bear much more value than long domain names. Short domains are easier to remember, tend to receive more direct navigation and, statistically, short strings of letters will tend to mean more things than longer ones. For those reasons, a 3-letter.COM domain with good letters (no z, q, k...) will fetch at least $xx,xxx. In general, one-word domains are worth much more than two-word domains.
